Fire and Ice Facial

This is the facial that gave me the “facial queen” status.

Relax,unwind and let us revitalize you. In this facial we cleanse , toned , skin is analyzed to diagnose any skin conditions. Any extractions of comedones are removed , skin is exfoliated and stimulated to increase blood flow . After stimulant skin is cooled using stones which restores radiance and encourages optimum cell function. Mask is applied with a face, trapezius and lower back massage followed by a serum , eye cream and hydrating moisturizer. To end off we massage the scalp and ears to make you feel fully replenished.

Do the vellus hairs (peach fuzz) come back thicker?
Vellus hair is the light, short, fine hair that covers most of a person's body. The primary role of vellus hair is to protect the skin and keep the body warm. Some are under the impression that shaving this hair causes it to grow back thicker and darker, but that is actually not the case with vellus hair. Dermaplaning will not cause the vellus hair on your face to grow back thicker or darker due to the fact that the hairs are not terminal.

What is terminal hair?
Terminal hair, is the longer, thicker, and darker hair that grows on the head. It also forms thick patches of body hair in the pubic region, under the arms, and beard. Vellus hair does not have a medulla. The medulla is a portion of the hair's core that strengthens it, allowing it to grow longer.
